Returns and formula questions
We formulate and blend MEIDU hair color, but we do not run the store, process payments, or ship orders. All returns, replacement requests, return labels, and refunds belong entirely to the retailer that took your order and processed your payment.
How returns and refunds are processed
Every return must go through the retailer where you placed your order. The return window, shipping labels, package tracking, and refunds are set and managed solely by that seller. We do not have an order lookup system, we do not operate a warehouse, and we cannot issue return labels, process refunds, or accept returned parcels at our Boston office.
What our team can answer
Our team explains what is inside the bottle, clarifies our 9 shades, and describes the mixing bench. If you are unsure whether the 400 ml or 500 ml bottle you received matches your coloring goal, we can explain the chemical profile of the formula. We can help you identify our permanent oxidative dye ingredients so you know what shade to choose next.
Patch testing before opening bottles
An opened bottle of oxidative dye cannot be resold or reconditioned once unsealed. Our formula contains p-phenylenediamine, resorcinol, m-aminophenol, ethanolamine, and hydrogen peroxide dispensed as one liquid from a pump. Performing the required skin test 48 hours before coloring helps prevent adverse skin reactions and avoids the need to return opened bottles.
